How long is recovery?

Most patients return to desk work in 10–14 days. Swelling and tightness improve over several weeks. Exercise typically resumes around 6 weeks when cleared by Dr. Vasisht. (Timelines vary.)

Am I a candidate (mini vs. full)?

Good candidates are near their goal weight with loose skin and/or muscle separation (diastasis). A mini treats skin below the navel; a full also tightens muscles and addresses skin above and below. Dr. Vasisht will recommend the right approach.

Will there be scars?

Yes. The incision is placed low on the abdomen, hip-to-hip, designed to sit under underwear or a bikini. Scars fade over time; you’ll get detailed scar-care instructions.

Is a tummy tuck covered by insurance? Are financing options available?
